The British Handball Association has existed since 1967. Since then handball in Britain has had a chequered existence its popularly never rising to a level of national recognition. That is until the Olympic Games of London 2012 when every match was available live on the BBC. It remains to be seen but hopefully the London Games are the watershed that the sport needs to move forward. The blog mainly documents aspects of handball in Britain before early '90s.
